Management Engagement Policy (FSC)

IberianCare 2016 S.L. is a Malaga-based company dedicated to the purchase, import, distribution and sale of sanitary products nationwide, committed to products that have been manufactured using sustainable forest materials from FSC-certified producers and owners.

Therefore, IberianCare 2016 S.L. has decided to implement a Chain of Custody Management System for forest products in accordance with the FSC standard, to ensure the traceability of wood from its origin and through the entire production chain to the consumer. Showing a responsibility and commitment to the environment and sustainable development with the use of certified materials.

With this policy we explicitly declare that we are neither directly nor indirectly involved in any of the following activities:

(a) illegal logging or trade in illegal timber or forest products;

(b) violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations;

(c) destruction of high conservation values in silvicultural operations;

(d) significant conversion of forests to plantations or other uses;

(e) introduction of genetically modified organisms into forestry operations;

(f) violation of any of the ILO Fundamental Conventions, as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.

The organization:

⮚ It does not prevent workers from associating freely, electing their representatives, or bargaining collectively with the company.

⮚ The relationships are voluntary and do not make use of forced or compulsory labor.

⮚ It does not restrict the freedom of association of workers.

⮚ It does not use child labor; The company’s internal policy states that no hires will be made under the age of 18.

⮚ It does not prevent equal opportunities and treatment of workers. The percentage of women on the workforce exceeds 90% of the contracted staff, thus promoting labor inclusion.

⮚ Iberian Care has an action protocol against workplace harassment to detect, act and correct those cases in which sexual harassment, harassment based on sex or situations of workplace harassment occur.

⮚ It does not discriminate against workers regardless of their occupation and employment. Both workers and trainees are treated equally in the company.

⮚ The working conditions do not endanger the safety or health of the workers. IberianCare is certified under ISO 45001 in Occupational Risk Prevention.

Iberian Care 2016 S.L. Compliance with chain of custody requirements ensures a commitment to occupational health and safety. It has an external occupational risk prevention company to establish these requirements (courses, medical check-ups, inspections…).

This policy is a commitment understood, acquired and communicated within the organization, is available to relevant stakeholders, both on the corporate website and on boards in the office, and is established and implemented in accordance with the following principles:

▪ To provide the company with the human, technical and economic resources necessary for the establishment, maintenance and effective management of the chain of custody management system.

▪ Compliance with timber legality legislation.

▪ To monitor that suppliers comply with standards in order to contribute to the chain of custody.

▪ Compliance with the requirements of stakeholders (customers, employees, suppliers, etc.) from sustainable management in order to be able to follow the chain as it passes through our company.

▪ Periodic review of the operation and compliance with the requirements of the chain of custody.

The Management of IberianCare 2016 S.L. assumes the highest representation and authority of the company in relation to the Chain of Custody Management System according to the FSC standard, actively collaborating with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the world’s forests are managed responsibly.
